Synopsis: ‘Smashed’ is a look at today’s youth culture, particularly in rural communities. It examines the role alcohol plays, and the disastrous consequences that can occur when bad decisions are made

Awards: Nominated for an Awgie (Australian Writers’ Guild) Award in 2007, for Best Community & Youth Theatre

Behind the Scenes Information: This one act play was developed through the Moree & Gwydir Shire Council’s youth driving safety program. The play was performed by the youth council.
