My First Blog Ever

February 8th, 2010 · 12 Comments »

Dear Blog,

I’m so happy I have you to talk to. You’re like my best friend, except you don’t talk back and my eyes hurt if I stare at you for long periods. Also you don’t smell like pizza.

I have had this website done up so people can stalk me online – it’s for people who are so impressed with my work they want to know everything they can about me. Okay, so it’s just for my mother. Hi Mum.

I came across this deep piece of wisdom today and thought I would share it with you all Mum – An unbreakable toy is useful for breaking other toys. Keep that in mind as you go through life.

Keep well and stay out of trouble,

Kisses, hugs and Chinese burns,

Congrats on getting your first book written Nathan – put me down for a personally signed copy as soon as it comes off the presses.

    Oh wow!

Once upon a time, at the airport in Melbourne, I walked past Max Walker.

Next to Max Walker, you’re the only famous person I’ve ever been near.

Actually, next to Max Walker you’re really very short.

Well, I’m a little disappointed that this blog doesn’t smell like pizza, but you can’t have everything.

However, it seems that I can have a copy of your book! And seeing that my actual age is about 10, I think I will enjoy it very much.

P.S I think my mum needs to get out more often and stand next to more famous people…

  • Hi Nathan, can we read an extract from your book? It is so tantalising just sitting there on this website. But it is unopenable… I want a peek!

  • Nathan

Stay tuned … there may be an extract coming this way shortly … For now, here is an extract from the title page, which I think might whet your appetite:

Wow Nathan, this is so excellent. You are amazing with what you have achieved! Can’t wait to see the book!

You were always Corporal Carnage in my eyes but now you are Chicken Stu! Will the book be distributed in the UK??

  • Ronda Bergin

    I’m making a list [and checking it twice] of my friends who have nine year old grandchildren. Is there a discount for bulk orders? {or should I check the list three times?}

  • Tracey

    Hey Nathan!

I am sooooo excited :) Will you be doing instore signing?

  • Elaine Luff

All I can say is “Some Mother’s Do ‘Ave ‘Em” and damn proud of it too!!!
